Web Site Graphics

Web graphics refers to preparing an existing picture for publishing on a web page.  The rate for this service is $30/Hour.  This includes optimizing the picture so that download times are kept as low as possible. 

Most pictures optimized for web sites are put in a photo gallery.  This is a web page with the photos displayed as thumbnails.  When a browser of the site clicks on the thumbnail, the full-sized picture is displayed.

There are many options for photo gallery pages.  The possibilities run from a simple photo gallery page described above to Flash generated slide shows.

Typically client photos are "washed" in several stages through some graphics software that fixes problems with brightness, resolution, focus, etc.

Displayed to the left is an example of how we can enhance your existing pictures.  The Yellow Rose at the left makes use of a Java Applet to simulate the reflection of the rose on waves.  

Also, pictures are typically inserted into the text of a web page in one form or another.  Our graphics optimization includes the normal "washing" of the picture, described above, plus appropriate sizing and/or borders for the picture.

Graphics optimization does not normally include graphics design.  However, Texas Outdoor Webs can create a company logo, such as the one at the top of this page.
